POSITION: Student & Community Support Specialist (Grades 4-8)

REPORTS TO: Intermediate & Middle School Administrators

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Regular/Full-Time

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, but Master’s Degree preferred.
- Must hold a LISW, PC, PCC OR PCC-S License.
- Three years of successful teaching and/or school experience is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in the field of mental health is preferred.

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote and enhance the overall academic mission of the school district by providing services that strengthen home, school, and community partnerships and address.
- Contribute to the development of a healthy, safe, and caring school, district and community environment.
- Advance an understanding of the emotional and social development of children.
- Serve as a catalyst in promoting student well-being.
- Expertise and/or experience counseling students.

SALARY: Based on experience and the Board Adopted Certified Salary Schedule.
