Ethical Dilemmas in Telehealth Group Work
Application for 3 Ethics CE Credits has been submitted
Over the past year, telehealth has had an increased role in group work due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Regardless of the method of group work delivery (i.e., in-person or telehealth), ethical dilemmas are ever present. It is important for counselors who are facilitating group work to be knowledgeable of ethical best practices to ensure optimal client care. In this interactive 3-hour CE, participants will review their understanding of ethical best practices in group work, as well as identify the ethical differences and similarities between in-person and telehealth group work. Additionally, participants will explore common ethical dilemmas in telehealth group work through case study applications and group discussions. Lastly, participants will gain knowledge of appropriate technology for conducting ethical, telehealth group work. Presenters will use a variety of interactive activities throughout the presentation.
