Participants will receive a substantial resource guide designed to enhance a counselor’s repertoire to engage children and teens in virtual counseling through creative and ready-to-use techniques, interventions, and therapeutic tools. This webinar will offer counselors a wide range of creative techniques using best practices in such areas as cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, bibliotherapy, expressive arts, providing safe and affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ clients, and embracing the use of technology. Last, this webinar will provide relevant theoretical frameworks and use of developmental models to add understanding to interventions and best practices.
