EMDR THERAPY TRAINING FOR BIPOC CLINICIANS

The Institute for Creative Mindfulness is proud to announce that one of our new faculty members, Ohio-based Lisa Hayes, LISW-S, will be debuting the first cycle of EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Foundational Training specifically for clinicians who identify as persons of color. We are happy at ICM that we will be able to offer trainees a full team (faculty, assistants, and consultants) of people who also identify as persons of color.

This emerging model training for BIPOC clinicians/clinicians of color taught by a faculty member that is a person of color was debuted last year by Diane DesPlantes and our friends at the Advanced Education Institute. We hope that one day every EMDR training program will be able to offer such a training.
