This webinar is for you if you work with pelvic/vulvar pain in any capacity. The objectives for this webinar are as follows:

  • Address the historical fabric of reproductive and sexual health and how it has impacted healthcare for female identifying persons. Participants will be able to identify at least 3 ways that sexual and reproductive health has been impacted throughout history. 
  • Discuss at least 3 barriers that exist within the healthcare system and the impact reproductive and sexual healthcare as well as how it presents in the treatment room.
  • Identify ways in which sexual health providers in different settings can advocate and empower those that they work with in various settings. 

  • This program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 2.5 CE credits and is considered synchronous learning if in attendance to the live webinar. Participants will expected to complete a post webinar assignment as part of the completion of the 2.5 AASECT CE's. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification through the Sexuality Training Institute.
