Intimate Partner Violence 101 – Wednesday, October 14 | 10:00-11:30 AM

*This training has been approved by the SOH, CSWMFTB for 1.5 CEs for counselors and social workers.

*This training is being offered on a donation-basis. All donations support our efforts to provide critical services to survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual violence and human trafficking.

On average, 24 people per minute experience violence from an intimate partner in the United States (thehotline.org). This presentation will provide an overview of intimate partner violence, including different types of abuse, power and control methods, trauma bonding and the impacts of trauma.
