Fall and Winter In Depth CE opportunities

Clintonville Counseling and Wellness is offering a full line up of 3 and 6 hour In-Depth Trainings this fall and winter! Topics cover Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Polyamory/Consensual Non-Monogamy, and Trans/Non-Binary Clients. 

Additionally, optional 1 HOUR CONSULTATION GROUPS are offered in conjunction with our in depth trainings to help deepen understanding of the concepts discussed, allow for practical application of concepts to specific case examples, and address attendee’s specific clinical questions. Consultation groups will be limited to 5 participants to ensure each attendee receives time and space to address their specific clinical concerns. Poly 101: An Introduction to Consensual Non-Monogamy

This course will introduce mental health professionals to the basic types and structures of Consensual Non-Monogamous (CNM) relationships and increase awareness of common vocabulary use, individual and relational challenges, minority stressors. Other various clinical issues related to CNM, such as creating relationship agreements, navigating conflict, ways to develop and maintain healthy ethical relationships, and more will be outlined. As a 101 level training, this is by no means all inclusive, and is designed as an introduction to this topic to assist clinicians in identifying areas where they may need further training to provide a knowledgeable and affirming space for CNM clients.
