Fall and Winter In Depth CE opportunities
Clintonville Counseling and Wellness is offering a full line up of 3 and 6 hour In-Depth Trainings this fall and winter! Topics cover Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Polyamory/Consensual Non-Monogamy, and Trans/Non-Binary Clients.
Additionally, optional 1 HOUR CONSULTATION GROUPS are offered in conjunction with our in depth trainings to help deepen understanding of the concepts discussed, allow for practical application of concepts to specific case examples, and address attendee’s specific clinical questions. Consultation groups will be limited to 5 participants to ensure each attendee receives time and space to address their specific clinical concerns. Transgender and Gender Nonconforming (TGNC) people have unique physical and mental health needs that are compounded by systematic and institutional discrimination. This 6 hour training will explore terminology and concepts, an in depth look into barriers, ways people transition, and how to best navigate transitioning - medically, socially, legally, interpersonally, and with gender expression.
