  • If you are the recipient of a grant or scholarship from an OCA Chapter or Division, use this reg option as instructed.
  • Anyone not a current member of OCA or OSCA qualify for this rate
  • Membership in OCA qualifies for this discount registration fee. We will confirm that your membership is valid through April 28 before approving attendance.
  • Membership in OSCA qualifies you for this discount registration level. We will confirm that your membership is valid through April 28 before attendance is confirmed.
  • Student membership must be valid through April 28 for this registration level.

Legislative Advocacy Day

The OCA Government Relations Committee (GRC) will once again host LA Day at the Riffe Center in downtown Columbus. Plan now to attend and make a difference for counselors across Ohio.


Registration is open now through April 3. Student Members are $20, Professional Members $25, and Non-Members $45. OSCA Members also get the OCA member rate.


The GRC will offer a variety of speakers to inform and prepare you for a meeting with your legislator that same day. Government Advantage Group will make the appointments for you and most people visit their representatives in groups. Some will be in the same building, some have offices in the statehouse.


Petition your Chapter or Division to see if they are offering scholarships or grants to pay for your registration, parking, and mileage.


Along with CE credit and great education/training, we will have all day sodas, water, snacks, and a buffet lunch from Qdoba. Your CE certificate will be emailed to you.
