CSI Ohio Conference - Professional Collaboration (ONLINE)

The Kappa Sigma Upsilon CSI Chapter at Kent State University is pleased to be hosting the first annual CSI Ohio Conference! The theme of the conference is Professional Collaboration Amongst all Levels of Counselors. The conference will be held May 23 & 24 ONLINE due to the Covid-19 issues. 

We hope this email finds you well. Amongst all the news and staying at home we come to you with an opportunity. As many of you were aware, the First Annual CSI Ohio Conference was scheduled to occur Saturday, April 4th, 2020 at Kent State University’s White Hall, but due to stay at home initiated by the governor of Ohio, Mike DeWine this conference has been postponed. The opportunity we propose is a Virtual Webinar: First Annual CSI Ohio Conference.  

Who is invited: Ohio Counselors, Counselor Students, School Counselors, and School Counseling Students. (We will only be offering CEU’s for the state of Ohio)

What: Virtual webinar option of the First Annual CSI Ohio Conference, which offers 15 CEU opportunities. Presentations include topics on ethics and legal issues, supervision, multicultural issues, trauma and crisis issues, and more! 

When: The Conference will be held virtually starting May 23 and ending May 24. A more detailed schedule will be provided in the coming weeks. 

Where: You may attend this conference from the comfort of your own home while connecting virtally to the webinar through Zoom (links will be provided after confirmed registration). 

Why: Because you are at home anyways! 

Registration Details: 

First, if you have already registered for First Annual CSI Ohio Conference your payment and registration will automatically be applied to the Virtual Webinar: First Annual CSI Ohio Conference. Prices for registration remain the same: 

o   Student CSI Member: $15

o   Student Non-CSI Member: $20

o   Presenter: $15

o   State-Wide Conference Committee/Volunteers: Free 

o   Professional CSI Member: $30

o   Professional Non-CSI Member: $40
