3 CEUS for Ohio Counselors, Social Workers and MFT'S

Register online: Waybridge Counseling

This workshop will consider common, and the "not so common" ethical issues that are presented in supervision.  Several ethical and clinical cases will be covered, including several true and uncommon cases of counter-transference related to suicide, disclosure of client's interest to kill the therapist, and sexual attraction to the therapist and subsequent stalking of the therapist. The participant will also be encouraged to bring cases that they have addressed in supervision for discussion related to ethical decision-making.

Dr. Butch Losey, LPCC-S is an assistant professor for Xavier University's Department of Counseling and Owner and CEO of Waybridge Counseling in Cincinnati Ohio. He is also the Chair of the Professional Standards Committee of the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. He has over 30 years experience in the mental health field and is a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervisor endorsement. He is a couple's therapist helping couples recover from infidelity, high conflict and problems with intimacy.  His latest book, Creating an Effective Couple Therapy Practice, is written for therapists and addresses common issues that therapist may encounter in couples therapy. There is an emphasis on best-practices and evaluating outcomes of therapy.
