CAT 511W Grounding Techniques: Creative Counseling Interventions

This workshop will focus on the importance of grounding clients through techniques that utilize the body/ mind/spirit and creativity. Students will learn ways to reduce stress and anxiety and enhance Self-expression. Increasing awareness through both grounding body and Earth, and using Yin Yoga practices can switch the nervous system to sympathetic (fight or flight) into para sympathetic (rest and digest). Expressive tools of writing, drawing, printmaking and/or using your camera on the IPhone will be explored.

Dates:  Friday, July 13 and Saturday, July14, 2018, 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

$175.00 for 1 Graduate Credit not applied to a degree at Ursuline*

$120.00 for non-credit (Counselor 12 CEU’s or Certificate of Attendance)
