CAT 514W Creative Techniques: Collage Based Interventions

This course uses collage for assessment and as a method of intervention to meet the needs and goals of various populations. Collage is an art form that can be used to learn about self and others. It is a layering, a putting together of media in new and unusual ways and is a layering of thoughts, feelings and ideas that create unique metaphors that promote insight. Participants will learn various methods of collage intervention through case material and classroom experientials. Dates: Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, 2018, 9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
