2015 Ohio Counseling Association Leadership Institute: Strength-Based Leadership

Please consider participating in OCA’s second annual Leadership Institute!   

This training is designed to develop and enhance your leadership skills and to provide you with an important networking opportunity.

The focus of this year’s training will be on helping you identify your personal strengths and how you can incorporate these into your evolving leadership style.  We will also address how you can identify others’ strengths and use these to support them in their leader development process, and in achieving leadership goals. 

Attendees will be provided with information and tools while enjoying networking opportunities with leaders in the counseling field from around the state.   The institute will be  highly experiential and a number of activities will be incorporated throughout the day.

Applicants selected to participate in the 2015 OCA Leadership Academy will:

• Attend a day long pre-conference workshop at the AOCC
• Learn more about OCA’s history and current status
• Meet with current and past OCA leaders in a small group environment
• Learn more about how to get involved on a branch, division and state level of leadership in OCA.
• Increase knowledge of how to be an effective leader through organizational management skills.

 All OCA members, including graduate students and new professionals, are encouraged to apply for this unique training experience.
