    Columbus State Community College is hiring for an Assistant Director, Counseling Services! 

    The Assistant Director of Counseling provides leadership for counseling services and supports the clinical supervision and assessment needs of the team. This position ensures quality delivery of counseling services to a diverse student population, fosters a team environment, and manages staff, interns, and campus-wide wellness programming in a high-paced environment. Contributes to student success and retention efforts within a “student-first” framework. The Assistant Director develops, maintains, explains, interprets, and enforces policy and procedure, as well as provides direct services to those utilizing counseling services while partnering closely with colleagues in the Department of Student Wellbeing and across the college. The person in this role is able to develop and grow community partnerships that can have a positive impact on students and will be dedicated to creating an inclusive and equitable experience for students working through mental health difficulties that impact other aspects of their lives including academic success. Supervision experience and designation are required, as well as demonstrated experience working with diverse populations. 

    Educational Requirements: Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three (3) years of related counseling experience. State of Ohio Counselor Licensure (LPCC-S, LMFT-S, LICSW-S) (Note: Clinical Supervision License required)
