About Us
Stella Luna Counseling and Wellness is expanding into a robust holistic wellness center. We are currently an established private practice based in the heart of Strongsville, Ohio, and will be relocating to Middleburg Heights and expanding into 6K square feet. Our beautiful new location is conveniently located just off I-71 in a nice, private parkway setting. We are a mental health and wellness center utilizing an intentional blend of evidence-based treatment and holistic services that impact the mind, body, and spirit. Our center is founded on the perspective that effective therapy begins with healthy therapists. Therapists will receive discounted access to our state-of-the-art float-tank, meditative salt-cave with halo-therapy, yoga and exercise classes, massage, reiki, and FAR infrared sauna. We are looking for independently licensed therapists who have developed excellent therapeutic skills in a trauma specialty and have interest in providing psychedelic assisted therapy for those struggling with PTSD (we will train the right individual). Just as importantly, our therapists are committed to their individual pursuit of higher consciousness, spiritual enlightenment, self-care, mindfulness, and healthy living. We intentionally practice what we teach so we can continue to be a clear vessel for ourselves, and usher out this transformative work with our clients and community.
Our center values diversity. We are open and inclusive and aim to build a team that represents the diverse populations we serve. We are looking to fill two positions: 1) daytime therapist 15+ direct hours with full-time growth potential; 2) evening and weekend therapist to work a minimum of 10-direct hours per week with the potential to grow into desired full-time hours. In either case, if you need a slower transition from your current position, we will work with the right fit.
The split between the practice and provider is 60/40 based on the direct billable hour rate. We offer a blend of private pay and insurance-based clientele, and provide therapists with ongoing referrals, marketing, scheduling support, onboarding/intake of new clients, HIPPA compliant email, and use of the HIPPA compliant EHR (electronic healthcare record system) SimplePractice. We may also pay for a portion of CEU’s related to trauma informed care, somatic processing techniques, training in NOSC practices, and psychedelic assisted therapy certifications.

You’re a perfect match if you have….
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent field
- Current unencumbered INDEPENDENT clinical license per Ohio state board (CSWMFT) – LPCC, MFT, LISW (must be INDEPENDENTLY LICENSED)
- Ability to work independently and as a master of their craft. We are a collaborative team, but we also value independence.
- Specialized in trauma, and possess documented trauma informed training/CEU’s and certifications (i.e. EMDR, holotropic breath work, somatic experiencing, IFS, mindfulness-based therapy)
- Dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of clients, and represent the practice professionally and passionately
- Fluency with computers and EHR systems (i.e. SimplePractice)
- Specialized training in other modalities such as EMDR, trauma processing, holistic wellness, trauma-informed yoga, Ayurveda, brain-spotting, narrative therapy, etc. will be given special consideration.
