All Ohio Counselor's Conference

Greetings OCA members and stakeholders! The OCA leadership team has been working hard to plan the All Ohio Counselor’s Conference (AOCC). In order to keep our members safe and also provide new opportunities for learning, collaboration, networking, and innovation, this year’s AOCC will be held virtually. In addition to it being virtual, there will be many aspects of the virtual conference that will be different. First, the AOCC will not be held over just three days – it will be AOCC week! This will allow folks more opportunities to see more sessions on their own time. There will also be evening CEU opportunities, less sessions offered at one time, and recorded sessions that would allow members to obtain continuing education and learning after the conference. We are also planning many interactive sessions to help with networking and socialization. More details to come soon! For now, I wanted to let folks know the exciting news. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at jmcgloth@kent.edu. Cheers, Jason

Over 1,500 counseling professionals will be in Columbus for the 3-day conference to participate in sessions covering a variety of relevant and  timely topics. The conference is co-sponsored by the Ohio School Counselor Association and the Ohio Counseling Association.

Come back soon for Call for Proposals, Registration, and Hotel Reservations!

The Graduate Student Committee has opened the Call for Poster Sessions for all grad and doctoral students who are members of the OCA.  CLICK HERE to see the details and apply to present a poster at the 2020 AOCC Conference. Posters will be viewed Thursday evening during the Awards Reception. Questions? Contact Natalie.
