2012 Sixth Annual Legislative Advocacy Day

The day will consist of legislative advocacy training, updates on current legislative issues, time to share/discuss with colleagues and scheduled appointments to meet with your legislators.

Participants may park at the State House (click here to visit site) or the Columbus City Center (click here to download info).
Complete your registration on-line. Payment can be made online using your credit card or PayPal account. Payment can also be mailed to OCA or made the day of the event. The cost is $50 for Professionals and $25 for Students.
Attendees may be scheduled for an appointment with your state representative and/or senator if available. Click here to find your representative and click here to find your senator.
2.25 CEU hours for PCs and PCCs will be provided (no additional charge). School counselors will be provided a certificate of attendance to share with your LPDC.
Break refreshments and a box lunch is included as part of your
registration. Be sure to indicate on the registration form if you prefer a vegetarian box lunch.
