I took part in this four-day externship in February 2015 and it revolutionized the way that I approach couples therapy!  I had been frustrated over the lack of understanding that was occurring between partners within therapy and realized that I needed to learn ways to help them speak constructively on a more emotional level rather than a logical/intellectual level.  This approach helped me to bring emotions into therapy in a constructive way and create understanding between partners.

I HIGHLY recommend you make the time for this training...  It WILL definitely be worthwhile!
