Talbert House, a social service agency that provides mental health, substance abuse, community corrections, and welfare-to-work services throughout the Greater Cincinnati region, is seeking a Clinical Service Provider (Therapist) for its Rewards Jail Intervention program in Cincinnati, Ohio. Rewards Jail Intervention (RJI) provides alcohol and drug treatment services and behavioral interventions for incarcerated females. The program utilizes a cognitive behavioral approach to addressing criminal thinking and behaviors. This is a full time, first shift position. Work days are Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays. The successful candidate is responsible for providing alcohol and drug treatment services including: assessment, education groups, counseling, case management and coordinated community re-entry planning services. Person is responsible for meeting clinical documentation standards for accuracy and timeliness.
This position requires Bachelor's degree, two years experience and LCDC III, PC or LSW. Prefer 2-4 years experience working with offender population and AOD treatment. Each CSP is required to successfully complete training on providing electronic clinical documentation within our software, CATT. This training must be completed within the first eight weeks of hire.

Mental Health Position for Equine Assisted Psychotherapy program near Hamilton, OH. This is a part-time contracted position. Persons applying for this position will be an independently licensed counselor, psychologist or mental health professional. You will work with a team consisting of an equine specialist, a horse and a mental health professional. No horse experience is necessary and further training will be offered. All work is done on the ground and no riding is involved. Using the EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) model of equine assisted learning, the team assigns a task to the client to carry out with the horse. Through observation of that process, the team reflects back to the client using clean and clear statements. The client develops their own metaphors for change through this very powerful process. Be prepared to work with all mental health issues, including developmental disorders. There is a business application as well and we will be offering group workshops in addition to private clients. Today, we provide many programs to help teens all over Franklin County who are in crisis situations, homeless or runaways. 1 in 7 children will run away before the age of 18. Once they are on their own, they don't have anywhere to go or don't know where to get help.
The Crisis Program at Huckleberry House is seeking to hire a Crisis Counselor who holds LSW or LPC
licensure. This individual will provide assessment, crisis counseling, crisis intervention, goal planning, and
resource linkage to youth residing in the 3-5 day youth shelter. Family engagement and counseling experience
